Activities & Programming

“I was living in my house alone for 3 ½ years, looking at the walls.  Now, I like to come (to PACE) to see my friends.”  - Roberta, PACE Participant

“My husband has gotten a lot better since he’s been here. Instead of staying in bed all day he’s much more active.”  - Nancy, PACE participant’s wife

Meet new people; rediscover lost hobbies; enjoy a meal.  Adult Day programming is more than Bingo!  Field trips, musical performances, gardening and book clubs are regular offerings.

Stay active and feel part of a larger community by coming to PACE.  Programming is designed for people of all abilities.  There are always alternative options to group activities, and all participants are supported in finding activities that interest them.

Specialized programming is available for participants with memory impairment, and PACE staff are trained in Dementia care.

Fully accessible showers and staff assistance are available.  Participants are welcome to keep their own favorite products and extra clothes at the Center.  Our skilled and caring staff can also assist in the restroom if needed.

PACE nurses administer medications, and provide blood pressure checks, nail care, wound care, and more.

In addition to programming, we have quiet, private spaces to rest.

This service is just one benefit of the PACE program.  PACE participants receive all their health care from PACE.  PACE does also provide an Adult Day Service to qualified applicants.  Please call to inquire about this option.
